Types of Cochlear Implants

The Ear Institute of Chicago, LLC offers cochlear implants from two different manufacturers. These implants include the Nucleus 24 Freedom implant made by Cochlear Corporation, and the Clarion 90K implant made by the Advanced Bionics Corporation. Each device is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The patient is allowed to choose the implant they desire.
